Craig Jaster (b.1959) is an American visual artist and jazz musician based in New Hampshire and Grosseto, Italy.  His richly textured, painterly collages, made from scraps of wheat paste advertising posters and other paper odds and ends, reflect a  jazz musician’s commitment to playful exploration. The importance of improvisation in composition is at the very heart of both his art and his music. His work, where the element of chance is always given room to play, is driven by curiosity, to see where trust in the unforeseeable will lead .

He is a member of the Italian Collagists Collective and the New Hampshire Art Association.
