Since I got back from Italy at the end of June, I’ve been busy preparing for a solo exhibition at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth, NH. That show will be up September 4 to 28. A piece of mine has also been accepted for the New Hampshire Art Association Biennial Two at The Gallery at Jimmy’s (Jimmy’s Jazz Blues Club), also in Portsmouth, September 5 to November 30. Opening receptions for both shows are Friday, September 5th, 5-8 pm.

I’ll be showing collages from when I stopped using paint altogether in 2022 and decided to trust entirely my environment to provide me with all the raw material I would use, to very recent collages made here in New Hampshire, several of which are as large as 30 by 40 inches. It’s all work I am very happy with and excited for people to see. I only have one tiny regret: I want to be free at the opening to talk with visitors about my work, so I can’t also be sitting at a piano in the corner playing jazz! I can't have it both ways, but showing work at Jimmy's Jazz Club almost qualifies!

I also recently received a grant from D. Pratt Framer in Rye, NH through the New Hampshire Art Association, which has been very helpful and for which I am extremely grateful.
